Resource on Demand
The UP SURP Library offers a fee-based Resource-On-Demand for both UP and non-UP library users. This service fulfills requests for articles and book chapters from a variety of sources, including journals, books, and e-resources available in the library. The requested documents are either scanned or photocopied and can be picked up at the library or delivered electronically or by courier. External requests from students of other institutions or government researchers should be initiated through their respective Head Librarians. To avail follow these steps:
- Go to Tuklas to check the availability of the material.
- Fill out the Resource-On-Demand form.
- Wait for the Library’s confirmation.
Online Book Reservation/Contactless Borrowing
Due to current circumstances, physical resource access is limited. As such, books may be reserved in advance and borrowed online. To avail, follow these steps:
- Go to Tuklas to check the availability of the material.
- Fill out the Online-Book-Reservation-Form.
- Wait for the Library’s confirmation.
- Get the books from the library.
The UP SURP Library is pleased to offer high-speed internet connectivity to meet your requirements. You can access the Wi-Fi from any location within the library. Exclusive to students, faculty, staff, and library visitors, you can connect to the internet using the QR codes within the library. Alternatively, you can also ask the SURP library faculty and staff members to connect you to the library Wi-Fi using the provided username and password.WiFi Access
Interlibrary Loans
The UP SURP Library extends interlibrary loan services to its users through partner institutions across the country. This service allows the library to fulfill users’ information needs by borrowing materials not available in its collection from the source library on behalf of the user.
